Enrolment Form Help

The top of the screen shows the new course that you are enrolling on. Please check carefully that the details are correct. It should show your enrolment status as prospective, this refers to your status on THIS course, not the previous one.

Course Details

If the course, route and year are correct, you should reply 'Yes' on the drop-down menu to the question 'are these course details correct?' Please note that the 'Year Of Course' reflects the level of the course and not necessarily the number of years that you have been studying.

If the course, route or year are incorrect, you should reply 'No.' If you have indicated that the course details are not correct, pressing the 'Next' button at the bottom of the screen will guide you to an e-mail link where you can provide details of your query. You should provide your name, student number, and indicate what you believe is wrong and what you think the data should show. You will then exit the process for the time being and within a few days, will receive an e-mail response from the Re-enrolment team. Please note carefully that at this stage you WILL NOT HAVE COMPLETED YOUR ENROLMENT. The re-enrolment team will confirm your course details, and indicate whether any amendments have been incorporated (if appropriate). You will then be advised to proceed with the on-line enrolment process.

Mode of Attendance (General)

Your mode of attendance (either part-time or full-time) for your new course is shown at the top of the screen. If you wish to change this mode of attendance you should click on the 'change of mode of attendance' link. You will then be asked to select your new mode of attendance from the drop-down box and save the changes. Press the back arrow button (top left browser icon) to go back to the Enrolment 2007/8 screen. The change that you have made will not be reflected on the Enrolment 2008/9 screen at this stage, but will be shown in a later screen.

Mode of Attendance (international students)

Please note carefully that it is extremely unusual for international students to study part-time. The immigration terms and conditions on which student visas are based require full-time study. Any international student intending to change their mode of attendance to part-time MUST contact the re-enrolment helpline before continuing otherwise the University may still charge the full time fee.

Interruption and Withdrawal. If you have decide to interrupt your studies and return at a later date, you should answer 'Yes' on the interruption drop-down menu. Similarly, if you have decided that you do not want to start the course at all you should answer 'Yes' on the withdrawal drop-down menu. After you have pressed the 'Next' button at the bottom of the screen you will be asked to confirm your intention to withdraw or interrupt. You may be asked for a reason, and you will be notified that your student record has been amended accordingly. Please read the notes on screen carefully.
