A module which was previously graded IR (see above) has been failed due to the reassessment opportunity not being taken. The module is classed as ‘Incomplete’.

Credit Awarded for Prior Learning
  • This section shows credit awarded for prior learning or transferred from previous study.
  • Credit does not always carry a mark/grade, but if it does it should be on the same grading system as your other modules.
  • Credit can be awarded for one or more modules (e.g. for AC1001C) or towards the subject generally (towards 'Accounting Joint Degree').
Other Module Information
Year The Academic Year in which you were registered to take this module. (Reassessments, when taken, have their marks recorded in the year in which the module was first taken)
Period The semester (or term) in which a module was registered and taken.
Module

The module code. This consists of seven characters e.g. AC1001C. The third character denotes level and the final character denotes campus (C or N).

Title The title of the module. This should match exactly the title as given in your module handouts etc.

Credit All modules are credit rated and credits achieved accumulate towards your award. Standard undergraduate modules are 15 credits.
Mark This is the numeric mark out of 100. The undergraduate pass mark is 40. Certain modules require that in order to pass the module, some or all individual components must also be passed.
Grade See table below for an explanation of all the available grades

Attempts These are the number of attempts at the assessment. Passing on the first attempt counts as one attempt, passing after reassessment counts as two attempts. A reassessment due to mitigating circumstances being accepted the first time does not count as an extra attempt. There is a limit in the regulations to the number of attempts at each module
